Abstract:With the analysis of commonness of higher education , the education environment in comprehensive university , as well as the particularities of industrial design major, it is pointed out that carrying out the industrial design education in comprehensive university should be fully aware of and make good use of university effect, take into account region characteristic , act as circumstances permit, be accurately localized, to construct the harmonious education system of industrial design in comprehensive university. From the aspect of teachers providing and students source, the issue of talented people on a harmonious education system is discussed. The education purposes are probed from both social and economic benefits. The question of education means has been investigated from angles of contact and cooperation between universities, the university with the business community as well as international societies. The harmonious education system’s five main points are elaborated in detail. And finally it is pointed out that reasonable assessment is the safeguard of high level quality of teaching.
