Abstract:The authors give a brief review of translation achievements in China in 30 years’ Reform and Openingup and clarify the basic skeleton of development of translation theories. They also point out the optimistic situation of translation undertaking and that plenty of poorquality works are flooded in the translation book markets, which are caused by multiple factors. Then the problems of translator’s position, translators’ training and publishing of translation works are discussed here. At last some solutions to these problems and suggestions are presented.
