    Abstract:

    The effects of intellectuals during the Anti-Japanese War is an important dimension comprehensive and in-depth study of the intellectuals of the Republic of China. This paper, taking Tao Xisheng as an example, analyes the intellectuals in the interaction and blend of countries, class and enlightenment field. In the field of national salvation, intellectual training and knowledge have apparently lost the core idea of humanism, and payed attention to an external form. Knowledge in a appearing wrong shape, wrapped with power and ideology, become repressed knowledge, alienated as the tool rational knowledge. Free from the power extruded and shaped by the power, intellectuals had identity crisis. Therefore, “professionalism” intellectuals is necessary to balance the social development.
