    Abstract:

Japanese had coveted China for a long time. General Toyotomi Hideyoshi launched the invading-Korea war in 16th century with the declared purpose of “destroying Da Ming dynasty”. Among the folk scholars, it was Chikamatsu Monzaemon, a famous Japanese playwright in 17th century, who was the first one to express the idea of invading China in the way of arts. And Satou-Nobuhirou, a 19th-century civilian scholar, is the first one to bring up a systematic and comprehensive invading-China scheme. And then, Yoshida Shōin, brought up an arrogant imagination of conquering Korea, China and India.
