    Abstract:

The Jiang Bei Missionary Case in 1876 was not aroused by christians and catholics to torture non-christians and non-catholics. Instead, it wasproduced by non-christians and non-catholics designedly and?premediatedly, and “ Liang Tuo event” was just an excuse. Remedial work of the case lasted a long time and a lot of troubles arised. The government officials were among those to blame. The case, which had given rise to serious consequences, also resulted in the occurences of a series of Missionary cases in neighbourhoods and produced important influences on some anti-Christian acts afterwards.
