    Abstract:

    This paper evaluates the research innovation ability of Chinese 735 universities on the basis of the corresponding indicator system It does research on hierarchical analysis to these universities from three classifications, ie, constructive platform, district, and type The results indicate that the ability distribution of these universities on these three classifications is all uneven and the hierarchical phenomenon is obvious Based on these analyses, some suggestions to the development of the universities in China are given
