In this paper,a new method of using vector-matrix tosolving a dimensional chain in plane is presented.A mathematical modelis established by means of Rodrig's formula,and the computer programof this method is provided.It is more general and convenient than thegeometric calculation.The numerical calculation is presented in connec-tion with a practical example.The result is the same as that of geometricmethod.
