In this paper, the description of the wastewater treatment in Chongqing was presented. The present situation of the sludge treatment and disposal of Chongqing municipal wastewater treatment plants was analyzed. Some suggestions on the sludge management in future were proposed and several questions relevant to the suggestions were discussed.
