By introducing and analyzing the overall plan of Chongqing Baiyun Lake tourist development area and several main highlight landscapes, this paper points out that the creation of architectural environment should reflect the traditional culture. It is the basis for creation with architectural characters. It also coincides with the building philosophy-"tian ren he yi"(integration of nature with human beings), proposed by Chinese traditional architecture.
