This article briefly introduc input-output analysis, and its application to analyzing the housing industry of Japan, and the actuality and challenges in the development of housing industry in China; discusses the importance of analyzing input and output and creating its input-output table between Chinese housing industry and its correlative industries; roughly analysed the influence of the housing industry of Chongqing on its district economy and the action of inducing the development of its correlative industries.
