At present, Fenton oxidation process attracts more and more attention, especially in the field of wastewater treatment. In this paper, the development of Fenton oxidation used in degradation of dyes was reviewed as follows: the mechanism of Fenton's reaction, application of Fenton oxidation process in degradation of dyes, application of Fenton oxidation process in combination of other methods for degradation of dyes and the future of Fenton oxidation process.
