Aiming at the problems emerging from the rapid construction of towns in Three Gorges Area,an incremental way of town designing is investigated, It is attempted to re-create a contemporary street and courtyard spaces, which evolved from the traditional local town spaces. As a conclusion, this paper puts forward some suggestion for further study and practice.
