A winding and rowing microcomputer controller is proposed to be applied in an optical fibre preduction line. This controller consists of 8 09 8 single chip microcomputer.With trac-ing the linear velocity of d rivin g m otor,m edulating optical fibre tension with PLD and calculating layers of optical fibre. The controller automatically medulates the speed of winding and rowin8 step motors.
