Adaptive simulation algorithm is an effective and practical method for simulating stiff system,and the key to realize this algorithm is stiffness recognisation.This paper,based onthe previous recognizing methods,introduces fuzzy set theory in them to develop a more accurate approach which is successfully used in adaptive simulation algorithm.
