According to the equivalent circuit of unload by- pass bus, generation and developement of the overvoltagr by interrupting unload by-pass bus with isolating link were presented. Through representative fault examples, the reasons of flashover caued by interrupting unload by-pass bus with isolating link under the circumstances of high humidity were analyzed.
