The relevent concepts of tensor analysis into the study of computer aided tolerancing(CAT) are introduced,and the general method for seeking the sencitivity coefficients of the mechanical problems with explicit constrains is derived.The results are invariant in any coordinate system,and the concept are clear.The method is easy to be realized on a computer.
