Abstract:The Fault tolerant in process control is approached. Firstly, the safety and economics requirement of chemical, power, iron and steel processes is studied. Then, the state of the art of present process control is investigated, and the fault tolerant process control is introduced. Based on the researches and applications which having been made, the future research and development for this area is proposed.
