Productivity is the most basic index to measure efficacy of a production system in industrial economy. The measurement of productivity is the first step of its management. With the huge push of Reform and Opening,industrial economy of Chongqing is keeping a steady growth.The authors use production function to measure the industrial productivity of Chongqing from 1979 to 1999,and analyze its developing trend.
