Based on the analysis of tendency of ICT (information interactive terminal), this paper presents a new embedded terminal which is multifunctional and understandable-MIIT (multifunctional information-interactive terminal based on uClinux) for the disadvantage of ICT, and expatiates the structure and illustration of hardware and software system of MIIT. The paper establishes the application system of MIIT containing the three parts: the collection of data on serial port, the given application program and keyboard, and it also ensures the realization of application system of MIIT and makes MIIT applied in new applications field.
