Multirate filter banks and wavelet transform are closely related theoretically and practically. This paper researches the wavelet transform of discrete-time sequences basing on dendriform filer banks in the signal processing field, analyses the theory and design method of two channel conjugate quadrature mirror filter banks and fast implement of discrete orthogonal wavelet transform and generation of orthogonal wavelets, and points out the internal relationship between them.
