Design-build delivery system has been gained in popularity recently, however, it has not been applied widely in China. The paper sums up the character and scope and then studies the reasons for slowly developing in China in terms of construction law, enterprise framework and capability by literature and interview. Based on those analysis, this paper gives suggestion on how to popularize the design-build delivery system .
