Abstract:
The unbalanced nature of 35 kV distribution system due to capacity values is difficult in neutral operation, which can not meet the demand of voltage balance in static state and arc distinct in fault. This paper proposes a new neutral operation as neutral insulation in static state and resonance grounding in fault , along with EMTP simulation acts. Simulation indicates that new neutral operation method can improve lightning withstand level and decrease trip-out rate of grids.
