XML has become an industry standard for exchanging data between heterogeneous databases. Due to the different schema applied in XML and different databases, the problem of schema transformation has to be resolved. The autrors propose a novel data exchange mechanism binding source-end XML document by using target-end persistent class to deal with the difficulty of implementation and poor flexibility, based on the technology of object/relational mapping and XML data binding. The built XML document is consistent with source-end schema and is easy to be parsed and stored, hence this mechanism can resolve the problem of schema mismatching effectively.
