Abstract:
This article takes five-story steel structure modular building housing as an example to explore the complete chain of multi-objective optimization for parameterized plane and structural intelligent design. First of all, a parametric plane modeling and design method for steel structure building are proposed. Secondly, the Rhinoceros & Grasshopper modeling platform is used to write a Python script language to achieve structural intelligent design. Finally, the Ladybug & Honeybee building energy performance simulation plug-in and Karamba finite element structure are combined with Octopus data processing platform. Based on the two goals of total building energy consumption and steel consumption, the size of different rooms on the building plane and the size of structural members are designed and optimized to generate the Pareto optimal solution that meet the requirements of structural bearing capacity, and the correlation coefficients between parameter variables and the objective functions are obtained.
