Cultivating system for college creative talents is a systematic project, in connection with the design and optimization of knowledge system, the reformation of teaching mode, scientific testing and assessing on the learning result and so forth. This paper is referring to introducing the idea of creative talents cultivating to the training system of material science. This idea is conducted as a scientific and creative curriculum, through the optimization, combining the teaching of science quality with the capacity of the solution of engineering problems organically. Additionally, it is necessary to structure the strict qualitysupervising system, practice platform for creative talents which provides an access for them to be trained creatively engaging in both regular proving and designing experiments, and studentoriented assessing system contributed to make the scientific evaluation, invigorate the students’ enthusiasm, enlighten their curiosity, and prompt their creation.
