POE (post occupancy evaluation) is being paid great attention in the area of design nowadays It’s a research on the systematic evaluation on architecture in outdoor space This paper gives a general description of POE and the research method used in it Combining the theory and practice of landscape design, the author explains that it is fundamental to introduce POE in the teaching of landscape design The idea, experience and teaching method are further elaborated in the paper
