Abstract:We proposed the construction of online tutorship in graduation design and its significance, discussed students’ preference of supporting online tutorship, and introduced the vicarious interaction in online tutorship. Online tutorship has many advantages. It provides flexible management of graduation design, achieves communion of teachers, information and literature resources, trains students’ initiative and exploratory spirits, and gives teaching benefits for both teachers and students. However, it cannot completely substitute classroom teaching. These two manners have complementary advantages and should supplement each other.
