    Abstract:

    Professional education accreditation is for the checking of strength of running university and teaching quality, as well as for the selfexamining and selfimprovement. More importantly, it plays the role of “promote teaching quality by education accreditation”. Through review and analysis for the accreditation process and effectiveness of urban planning education in Anhui University of Architecture, we find that the accreditation help to make sure development orientation upgrade content and expand influence. Local universities should exert its advantages and grasp the opportunity of accreditation to condense university characteristics, show professional level comprehensively and objectively and enhance the content of professional building.
