I summarized that the civil engineer materials course has the characteristics of complex content, various concept, and poor logic. Based on them, I proposed some classroom teaching methods to stimulate students’ enthusiasm and interest, extend their vision, improve the teaching quality, and explore the teaching reform of civil engineer materials course.
