Course setting is the key of higher vocational education, which represents the orientation, subject construction and training model in the higher vocational college. I presented a new teaching model in Zhejiang College of Construction, analyzed the study environment and teaching content according to practical projects, and proposed some suggestions to explore courses combined with engineering practice and theory study which can improve students’ practice ability.
