Landscape architecture is a highly integrated and applied subject. The setting and organization of design courses for the landscape architecture specialty is the core of education system to train talents in engineering colleges. We analyzed the current situation of education system setting for design courses of landscape architecture specialty, and gave a reform idea for it under the proposed new subject development of training highquality and applicationoriented design talents to meet the social demands.
