Innovate talentcultivation mode is an important and urgent subject in both theory and practice of our country’s education reform and development in new century.Based on the spirit of document about the implementation of the quality project of the Ministry of Education,this paper discusses the necessity training applied talent,comparison between the engineering talentcultivation mode both at home and abroad,the current situation analysis of practiceoriented talents majoring in civil engineering,the significance of the pattern for constructing innovate talentcultivation mode of civil engineering specialty.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions to talents training mode and mechanism innovation.
