Universality and individuality is a basic principle of natural dialectics，which was introduced to bridge engineering teaching.The application of universality and individuality principle in bridge engineering teaching was introduced，about three parts of mechanical feature of arch bridge,crack of twocurved arch bridge and behavior of transverse beam.
