Rethinking about the traditional experiment teaching, we described a problem-based learning method in open experiment teaching of civil engineering materials. The method is helpful to students’ learning enthusiasm, and it can cultivate their abilities of independent analysis, innovative consciousness, communication, teamwork, and project management.
