Abstract:Engineering geology survey (EGS) is a very important professional course for geology engineering major (GEM). The teaching mode may affect teaching effects because EGS contains large and widerange contents. We investigated the teaching model based on the teaching practices and the teaching reform research of EGS in GEM of Chongqing Jiaotong University. Under the guide of the modern educational conception, to inform the teaching effects, problems of how to modify teaching contents in time and how to reform the teaching and examining modes were investigated.
