Civil engineering specialty is practical, social, comprehensive, and innovative. We introduced the current situation of practical teaching of civil engineering specialty in many application-oriented universities, clarified the importance of engineering training for civil engineering students, and then discussed on the engineering teaching mode of civil engineering based on the practice.
