    Abstract:

    School of architecture in Sheffield University is one of the oldest schools of architecture in UK. It is a main feature that both research and teaching are important and especially the close relationship between architecture, social and culture is valued, that are reflected in the curriculum. With the survey of the humanities courses in Sheffield University, the paper analyzed the teaching target, teaching content, teaching methods and strategies. Through this research, some meaningful reference will be provided for the humanities course teaching of architecture specialty in China.
