Urban planning in the agricultural and forestry universities is non-mainstream specialty. Urban planning specialty of agricultural and forestry universities originates from the needs of society and the existing education resources of school. With the development characteristics of urban planning specialty, employment characteristics and regional requirement in Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, the paper put forward the characteristics training mode of urban planning specialty.
