The happiness is a philosophical and ethical issue, and it is a real problem in a real-life. The topic of happiness in contemporary Chinese society continues to heat up and the issue of happiness is a universal concern. The concept of happiness of contemporary college students has obvious characteristics of the time, which is overall active and healthy but still with some problems such as too utilitarian understanding of happiness with hedonistic ideology, superficial understanding of happiness with too much attention on the role of money and material, and psychological dependence in the pursuit of happiness. To solve existing problems, we analyzed excessive and deep reasons, including social reasons, family reasons, school reasons and individual reasons. By analyzing causes of happiness concept of contemporary college students, we hope it can strengthen students’ happiness concept education.
