Structure mechanics is an important professional basic course in civil engineering specialty. Combined with the teaching practice of structural mechanics, it is proposed that mechanical concept teaching should be emphasized in the teaching of structural mechanics.Taking the virtual work concept teaching as the example,this paper elaborated in more detail the importance of structure mechanics concept teaching.
