Taking the human geography and urban planning specialty of local colleges and universities (Heze University) as an example, the training mode of application-oriented talents was constructed by clearing professional positioning, optimizing the curriculum and strengthening practical teaching and teaching reform. As the training mod was constructed, the analysis of the local demand and the specialty characteristic was analyzed on the base of the present situation of the professional settings.
