To increase the education internationality and improve the teaching system, the water science and engineering specialty of Chongqing University firstly passed the accreditation of Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management for the BSc program. We introduced and analyzed the international accreditation from four aspects of choosing of institution, accreditation process, accreditation documents and focusing points, and compared and discussed the international accreditation with the specialty accreditation.
