At present, there are more and more universities have set up the English-only instruction. The English-only instruction has significant implications for our country to construct world-class universities and disciplines. This study mainly summarizes the related reviews at home and abroad, classifies the research results and also analysis the current research situation. At last, this study points out the problems that should be paid attention to in current English-only instruction research, providing theoretical reference for subsequent research.
