The development and application of new media technology has broken the traditional graduation design model. This paper first analyzes the form and characteristics of current domestic graduation design, clarifies the significance of joint graduation design teaching reform based on the application of new media, and then introduces the new media application in virtual graduation design teaching, building multi-school graduation design teaching platform and evaluation system, sharing joint graduation design teaching achievements and so on. This study is to provide relevant theoretical basis and practical experience for the development of disciplines, professional construction and promotion of graduation design teaching reform process, so as to improve the quality of personnel training.
