    Abstract:

    Rock mechanics test is an important way to study rock mechanics properties and obtain mechanical parameters. In order to research the damage process of rock specimens with various sizes under different load levels, the Python language is used to make secondary development for ABAQUS and the parameterized numerical simulation system for rock mechanics test is established. The Drucker-Prager failure criterion considering shear effect is programmed into VUSDFLD subroutine and the failure element deletion algorithm is introduced to study the deformation and damage process of rock specimens. Then the triaxial compression test of granite block is taken as an example to verify the validity of the simulation system. The system can match with the laboratory loading platform according to the users' need, improve the efficiency of modeling and analysis, and enrich the content of mechanics test.
