Taking the doctoral dissertation in National Diet Library, National Institute of Informatics, the library of Tokyo Institute of Technology as the data searching, shows the subject characteristics(topic selection of doctoral dissertation) and academic heritage (continuity of doctoral dissertation research) of architecture genealogy in Tokyo Institute of Technology. The formation and development of the genealogy of architecture is not only related to the development of modern Japanese architecture but also beneficial to the establishment of Double First-class construction in colleges and universities in China.
