The rapid development and progress of information technology, it has affected the spatial composition of cities and buildings, and has penetrated into and integrated into urban planning, urban design and architectural design. In this paper, taking basic design course teaching of Yunnan University as the object, discussed the architectural heritage protection in teaching analysis, teaching construction, research and teaching, and applied to the teaching in architecture specialty, urban planning specialty and landscape architecture specialty. The purpose is to lay the foundation for architectural heritage protection from the basic design course for the undergraduates.
