Aiming at difficulties of studying in production practice of civil engineering major students during prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic, taking the excellent engineer practice teaching of Wuhan University of Technology as an example, the paper proposes to complete production practice in campus by special lectures offline and online video learning. Compared with traditional field production practice, the teaching content is comprehensive, advanced and detailed, and has achieved better ideological and political teaching effect. It provides ideas for the teaching reform of civil engineering production practice.
