    Abstract:

The implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students holds significant importance in promoting reforms in higher education teaching and learning, fostering the comprehensive development of students, and advancing societal progress. Targeting innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students, innovative autonomous talent cultivation systems in higher education can better meet the demands of society for diverse and top-tier innovative talents, stimulating the innovative potential of students, and cultivating talents with stronger practical abilities and entrepreneurial spirit. This, in turn, promotes a closer integration of higher education with societal development. Mechanical engineering program of Beijing University of Technology actively explores and constructs a talent innovation and entrepreneurship education system based on the fusion of expertise and innovation, aiming to enhance the innovation capabilities of students, strengthen their ability to apply knowledge and enhance the quality of talent cultivation through improvements in curriculum systems, teaching methods, faculty training, and evaluation systems. It provides reference for promoting the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Chinese higher education.
