As a comprehensive required course for transportation civil engineering majors, the construction technology course plays a role in connecting the past and the future in the whole training system. Through the study of this course, students can not only master the technology, method and technical knowledge of engineering construction, but also cultivate the cognitive ability of construction organization and management. Taking the railway engineering major at East China Jiaotong University as an example, the shortcomings of traditional construction technology course teaching are analyzed, and the project-based + modularization teaching mode is proposed to reform the teaching content, method and evaluation, so as to stimulate the interest of students in learning, improve their language skills, communication skills and teamwork ability, and ensure a high-quality course construction effect.
